Serene pastels
Especially pastel colours are totally back this spring/ summer 2011. Beautiful bright and quiet colours. Powder tones like powder pink and soft yellow, but also creamy white and ecru tones. There are mostly neutral colours, very nice in combination with black. But we also see lots of white. And we see many gray-green and sand colours.
All these contrasting pastel colours can then be used with more vivid and striking colours.

Bright and striking colours
Besides the soothing colours, we have more vibrant colours that are very intense. In fact this winter trend continues. Especially blue has a prominent role, bright shades of blue but turquoise as well. But also many warm colours like deep red, warm orange and bright yellow or yellow ocher. Still we see many purple in fashion. The yellow colour family is an important new group for spring/ summer 2011.
